Bozhentsite is a village in northern Bulgaria. It is located in the municipality of Gabrovo. The village of Bozhentsi was established after the Ottoman invasion of Tarnovo at the end of the 14th century. Then a large number of citizens fled the capital of Bulgaria and settled in the deeper and more inaccessible parts of the Balkans. The village of Bozhentsi was declared an architectural and historical reserve in 1964. For this reason, the architecture from the Revival is preserved in it. Bozhentsi is among 100 national tourist sites of the Bulgarian Tourist Union.
