The House of Humor and Satire is a museum in Gabrovo of national and world importance. It was established on April 1 (International Joke Day) in 1972 and is a proud heir to the local folk humor and merry carnival traditions in the Bulgarian capital of humor. Its emblem is an earth globe with cat eyes and ears to "see and hear" world humor through the senses of the symbol of Gabrovo humor - the cat.
