The Thracian tomb in Kazanlak is a masonry round-domed tomb located in Kazanlak and is part of a large necropolis located near the ancient capital of the Odrysian kingdom Seuthopolis. The tomb is world famous for its unique frescoes in the corridor and the domed room - one of the best preserved frescoes of ancient painting from the early Hellenistic era. It was discovered accidentally on April 19, 1944 under a mound.
