"Nativity" is the catholicon of the Orthodox Shipka Monastery in the town of Shipka, Kazanlak municipality. The church has been declared a temple-monument and a cultural monument of national importance. It is included in the list of the Hundred National Tourist Sites of the Bulgarian Tourist Union under № 92. It is dedicated to the heroes of the Russo-Turkish War (1877-1878). An ossuary has been built in its dungeons, in which the bones of nearly 9,000 Russian and Bulgarian soldiers who died in Bulgaria during the Liberation War are stored.
