The Kasnakovo nymph is a pagan sanctuary of Aphrodite and the nymphs, which is a semicircular platform with a spring and healing water. The area is known as Gyaur Bunar. located between the Rhodope villages of Kasnakovo and Klokotnitsa. At a later stage there are traces of Roman settlements in the region, and recently archeology around the temple revealed 2 Roman villas and a mausoleum
