On July 20, 2016, the chapel of the Holy Prophet Elijah opened its doors in the Pleven village of Bohot. The newly built church was built with the help of the Municipality of Pleven, residents of the village and the Pleven diocese, after the church of the Holy Prophet Elijah (one of the oldest in the Pleven region built of stone) was destroyed in the 1960s. Later, a bell tower was built next to the temple.
