More information
A roadside inn in the village of Kakrinka, Lovech region, became famous with the capture of Vasil Levski. The inn played an important role in the Internal Revolutionary Organisation as a shelter for its traveling and hiding members. On the morning of December 27, 1982, Vasil Levski was captured in it. After he was hanged, the inn was abandoned and later set on fire. After restoration repairs, it was reopened on May 10, 1931, as a place of worship and gratitude to the person of Levski.
