Cape Kaliakra, with its seventy-meter high shores like a huge breakwater, blocks the path of the fiercely rushing sea waves, born of the north wind. It tames them and turns the vast bay of Kavarna into a peaceful port. Located in a seismic zone, the peninsula is subject to constant washing away and destruction by sea waves. Kaliakra is changing, albeit slowly. But despite these changes, Kaliakra once and now radiates raw beauty!
