The open archeological exposition (Lapidarium) in the town of Montana is located in the Popska Garden Park, next to the Church of St. Cyril and St. Methodius.
The exhibition is part of the History Museum in Montana and was opened in 2001. It includes a large number (56) of archeological monuments found in the Montana area. The inscriptions on them give information about the culture and history of the region from the periods after II - III century AD.
There are many artifacts testifying to the worship of ancient gods - Diana (patron goddess of Montana), Apollo, Hygia and others.
Some of the exhibits are associated with various Roman emperors, rulers and other dignitaries who once ruled and ruled in the province of Lower Moesia and the region.
