The park occupies an area of 1060 decares, it has been afforested since 1958. In it is the "Old Plane Tree", about 500 years old, declared a natural landmark. The Bedechka River flows through the park, 34 km long, a left tributary of the Sazliyka River. In the park is the artificial lake "Zagorka", named after the nearby brewery Zagorka.
