The building was built by the legendary Tryavna masters Dimitar Sergyuv and Usta Gencho Kanev. Petko R. Slaveykov also intervened in the construction, giving advice on the interior design. That is why the locals started calling the school Slaveykovo, from the very beginning. The official opening was on July 27, 1863. A warm day marks the beginning of this fiery place in terms of education. Slaveykov personally gave a fiery speech at the opening. If you visit it, you will have the chance to sit on the old wooden benches with sandstones in the restoration of a classroom from the first years of school, to see baby carriages from the beginning of the century, a gun exhibition and a very curious restoration of a firework custom. The Nightingale School almost always has temporary and / or visiting exhibitions from other museums.
